CCNA Certified Cisco® Network Associate Preparation Part 2
Overview
CCNA Preparation is a two-course program that prepares participants for the industry recognized
CCNA certification exam. This program provides comprehensive coverage of Cisco networking
concepts. A background in A+, Network+, or network support and administration is recommended
for optimal performance in the program.
Objectives
After participating in the program, participants will be able to:
- Extend switched networks with VLANs
- Determine IP Routes
- Manage IP traffic
- Establish Point-to-Point connections
- Establish Frame Relay Connections
- Discuss security issues associated with Cisco Networking
- Define Perimeter, Firewall and Internal Routers
- Work with Address Lists
- Explain how NAT works
- Configure, test and troubleshoot NAT
- Discuss Cisco Wireless Technologies
- Configure a Wireless Internetwork
- List the benefits of IPv6
- Discuss Wide Area Network factors, including cabling
- Explain how PPP is configured on Cisco Routers
- Discuss Frame Relay and Virtual Private Networks
- Set up custom network configurations
- Build a simulated network
- Test configurations
- Troubleshoot and solve networking issues
Format
CCNA Preparation Part 2 is a 30-hour course and is the second part of a two-part, 60-hour program.
The course is delivered in a variety of formats based upon the needs of the client.
